7/6/19	Black Bear	Sighting	3	Mother and 2 cubs. Sighted crossing Chester Road, approx 1 mile from Main Street in Candia.
6/8/19	Snapping Turtle	Sighting	1	Width across back was ~1'. Length was somewhat longer (precise dimensions not measured). Climbing banking at edge of road. Stationary once approached; did turn to face near end of encounter. Sighted on edge of new road being put in of High St. (old lot 405-45). Located at the front of the New Lot #3
5/19/2019	Black Bear Black Bear	Sighting	5	Black bear with four cubs. Sighted at 322 Deerfield Road Candia
2/18/19	Owl	Sighting	1	Sighted on Old Candia Road.
1/12/19	Moose	Sighting Tracks Scat	1	Believed to be a Bull as (I believe) I observed large pedicle scars (had already shed antlers). Very territorial/aggressive. Significant droppings/bedding in the area. Also very large/deep prints. Sighted near discontinued portion of Baker Road.

5/2/18	Gray Fox	Sighting	1	I did see the face, I only took picture once I confirmed it was a fox by looking at tail. When I tried to take a picture of the face, it bounced off Fox style. Sighted on Horizon Lane, near North Road.

9/28/17	Bobcat	Sighting	1	It ran across High Street in Candia, right before Charmington Fair Farm. We turned around to go see if it was chasing something, but we didn't see it again. It ran into the woods.
4/11/17	Black Bear	Sighting	1	Black bear cub was running across the road in front of my car. Headed to woods. Mother was not seen, only cub. Sighted on South Street, 3 houses south of Adams Road.

03/30/10	spotted salamander	actual	1	Went out looking for salamanders that would be moving towards vernal pools for their yearly breading time and found one just about to enter a large vernal pool.

04/30/09	Yellow Spotted Salamander	actual	2	Although spotted salamanders are not a threatened species in New Hampshire, I feel they are rarely seen. I found two adult individuals this spring in my yard.
04/20/09	red fox	actual	1	Fox wandering around livestock pens, howling at 5:00am went out and it ran across the yard into the woods. At 3:15pm same day he was back in our yard chasing chickens while we were out there.
