Welcome to the official web site of the Candia Conservation Commission (CCC) of Candia, New Hampshire.

The primary goal of the CCC is to promote and protect Candia's natural resources, including our rivers, streams, wetlands and aquifers. We do this by reviewing wetland applications with respect to road and building applications that are submitted to the Department of Environmental Services (DES), making recommendations where appropriate.

We also attempt to promote and protect our rural character by hosting workshops and educating the residents about the importance of maintaining wildlife habitat and open spaces in our town. We are currently working with landowners to conserve land through activities of the Candia Open Space Committee, a sub-committee of the CCC. CCC funds will be used in this way.
